“Art is the imposing of a pattern on experience, and our aesthetic enjoyment is recognition of the pattern.”
Alfred North Whitehead (1861-1947)
This tattoo is an abstract elephant. It is designed to not be noticed by a simple glance. You need to look a little harder to see it. The trunk up symbolizes good luck.
Amazing work by Nikki Ouimette from Forever Yonge Ink in Toronto. This photo was taken right after it was finished, so it’s swollen.

My amazing cat tattoo by Betty Rose of Red Rocket Tattoo. I gave her a concept and she created this fantastically whimsical kitty for me.
My parents have always been very encouraging when it comes to appreciating art and everything that it encompasses, especially tattoos. This piece (which in this photo is showing only 25% of it) is pretty much paying homage to my parents and the love for art / expression.
Feel free to add me to Facebook (that is if you want to see more of my tattoos):
My second and favorite tattoo! Done by Jay at Liberty Tattoo in Philadelphia. It’s a Labyrinth growing out of tree roots, based off a drawing by my mother, and dedicated to her.
